REDWOOD CITY, Calif. & LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Bon Appétit Management Company, in partnership with Kilroy Realty Corporation, today announced the full opening of Farewinds, the waterfront market hall and gathering destination at Oyster Point in South San Francisco. Following several months of serving the Oyster Point community, Farewinds now welcomes the broader public to experience its globally inspired dining, flexible gathering spaces, event venues, and sweeping Bay views.

The location offers multiple experiences: a global-inspired market hall, convenient grab-and-go meals, handcrafted coffee service, flexible lounge space for impromptu gatherings, and event-ready venues overlooking the bay.

Chef Francisco Melchor has developed a menu that reflects the Bay Area’s diversity and the global food traditions that have shaped his cooking. His Indian, Asian, and Mediterranean-inspired dishes include a Delhi-style butter chicken, vegetarian curries with South Indian flavors of coconut, tamarind, and eggplant, and garlic noodles topped with garlic confit and chili crisp.

Also on offer are a Rajasthani lamb masala spiced with Mathania red chilies and a ginger shiitake pho in a fragrant vegetable broth prepared by grilling and layering in flavor, bit by bit.

Much like the food, the space is thoughtfully designed. Chef Melchor explains, “[in this space] you have the freedom to take a well-deserved break, drink your coffee, take in the artwork around campus or the Bay views, or slow down and enjoy a good meal.”

Farewinds at Kilroy Oyster Point in South San Francisco is open Monday through Friday for coffee service, breakfast, and lunch.
