Mundial Media: Holiday Context Drives Up to 93% Lift Across Multicultural Q4 Campaigns

Analysis of five holiday campaigns shows culturally relevant tentpole segments outperform benchmarks across QSR, retail, technology and streaming

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--As brands prepare for the critical fourth-quarter shopping season, new analysis from Mundial Media, the AI-first advertising platform for growth audiences, reveals that culturally relevant holiday contexts can significantly outperform standard advertising benchmarks across multicultural audiences, giving marketers a data-driven case for activating holiday campaigns well before Black Friday.

An analysis of five 2022–2026 holiday campaigns powered by Cadmus AI, Mundial Media’s hyper-contextual advertising technology, found that holiday-themed contextual segments generated 82%–93% lifts above benchmarks, with an average lift of approximately 90% across QSR, retail, technology and streaming campaigns.

“Holiday is where culture meets the cart,” said Tony Gonzalez, CEO and Co-Founder of Mundial Media. “The brands that understand the cultural moments surrounding how people celebrate, shop, gather and consume content have an opportunity to move beyond generic Q4 targeting and show up in environments that are actually relevant to their audiences.”

Segment-specific results from the findings include:

  • QSR: Holiday was the No. 1 contextual segment at a 92% lift, while a holiday limited-time-offer CTV campaign generated a 99.3% completion rate.
  • Retail/E-Commerce: Holiday Gift Guide content produced a 3.05% CTR, 6.1x the benchmark, at scale across 71.7 million impressions.
  • Consumer Electronics: A Thanksgiving-week pre-roll campaign generated an 87% lift when running against Holiday content, demonstrating that culturally relevant holiday context can extend beyond traditional shopping categories.

“Waiting until Black Friday to think about holiday audiences means brands are competing for consumers after many of the most meaningful cultural and shopping moments have already begun,” added Gonzalez. “Noche Buena, Friendsgiving, holiday hosting and gift guides create opportunities to connect with consumers throughout the season.”

Mundial Media estimates a 50 million-person addressable audience of Hispanic, Black/African American and Gen Z gift-givers, with adults ages 25–44 representing a core demographic of family-meal and gift decision-makers. Women represented approximately 56–57% of the audience in the analysis.
