Samsara Brings Connected Operations to the Ice with Laval Rocket Partnership

Season-long sponsorship equips Place Bell’s ice resurfacers with Samsara technology and brings fans closer to the game

LAVAL, Quebec--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Samsara Inc. ("Samsara") (NYSE: IOT), the pioneer of the Connected Operations® Platform, today announced its first professional hockey sponsorship, a season-long partnership with the Laval Rocket, the American Hockey League affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens. Samsara-branded Zamboni® ice resurfacers, equipped with Samsara 360 Camera and Vehicle Gateway devices, will help keep the rink ready for play.

The partnership spans the 2026-27 regular season, beginning with the home opener on Friday, October 2. It brings the same technology that organizations across Quebec rely on for the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations into a setting where fans can see it at work throughout the season.

The ice resurfacers are equipped with two Samsara technologies:

• 360 Camera: Gives a perspective other cameras can't, showing the rink from the machine's point of view, looking out in every direction
• Vehicle Gateway: Captures performance data, helping the Place Bell crew keep the machines in top shape

The Samsara partnership supports the Laval Rocket's raffle of seats in the first row behind the player bench, along with the chance for one child per home game to ride an ice resurfacer between periods.
