The four-day event showcased a broad spectrum of Korean culture and industries, bringing together K-content—spanning broadcasting, games, and character IP—with Korean food, beauty, tourism and lifestyle. Over 40,000 visitors attended, reflecting the strong interest in Korean culture in Mexico.

From September 25 to 27, visitors took part in a variety of exhibitions and interactive programs, including K-food tastings and cooking programs, K-beauty experiences, Korean tourism content, games, character IP and music. By presenting K-content alongside related industries, K-EXPO allowed visitors to explore how Korean content connects with products, experiences, and lifestyles.

On September 25, President Lee Jae Myung of South Korea, during his state visit to Mexico, visited K-EXPO, adding significance to cultural and content exchange between Korea and Mexico.

K-pop was another major highlight. On September 26, the KOREA SPOTLIGHT concert at Pepsi Center WTC featured WINNER, SOYOU, DAYOUNG, ALPHA DRIVE ONE and TOUCHED, drawing approximately 5,500 attendees. On September 25, K-POP Cover Dance All-Stars in Mexico and an ALPHA DRIVE ONE fan meeting and signing event provided additional opportunities for audiences to engage with K-pop artists and culture.

K-EXPO also served as a business platform for Korea and Latin America. The B2B program (September 24–25) facilitated 653 business consultations between Korean companies and buyers from Mexico and across Latin America, resulting in 53 memorandums of understanding (MOUs) to drive further regional partnerships.

Yoon Ji Kim, President of KOCCA, said, “This event allowed audiences in Mexico to experience K-content alongside a wide range of Korean products, while helping domestic companies explore new business opportunities with Latin American buyers.” He added, “We will continue to support Korean companies in turning collaboration between content and related industries into tangible business opportunities in Latin America.”
