Eagle Leasing Expands in Michigan - Acquires Metro-Detroit Container Fleet of Boxwheel Trailer Leasing

ANN ARBOR, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Eagle Leasing Company, a portfolio company of Kinderhook Industries, today announced the acquisition of the container rental assets of Boxwheel Trailer Leasing, LLC (“Boxwheel” or the “Company”), including its fleet of storage containers, related handling equipment, and customer rental agreements. The transaction adds a Woodhaven, Michigan yard to Eagle Leasing's Michigan operations, putting equipment and people closer to customers across metro Detroit. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Boxwheel built its Detroit-area container rental business alongside its core trailer leasing operation, serving industrial and retail customers. Boxwheel’s fleet of standard and high-cube storage containers will be integrated into the Eagle Leasing network, and the Company’s container customers should expect a seamless transition with no interruption in service.
