BioLab Holdings, Inc. Expands Placental Membrane Portfolio with New Hydrated-Amnion Membrane

New addition expands BioLab’s portfolio of high-quality placental membrane options backed by AATB-accredited operations

PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BioLab Holdings, Inc., a Phoenix-based medical technology company focused on tissue restoration, announced the addition of Membrane Wrap^™ Amniotic Hydro, a new hydrated-amnion membrane, to its growing portfolio of placental membrane products.

Building on BioLab’s existing hydrated amniotic membrane platform, Membrane Wrap – Amniotic Hydro™ is an allogeneic dual-layer amniotic membrane protective cover hydrated and preserved in centrifuged and filtered amniotic fluid derived from the same donor. The product is terminally sterilized using irradiation and is intended for use as a supportive barrier that provides protective coverage from the surrounding environment for acute and chronic wounds. It is available in sizes ranging from 2 x 2 cm to 6 x 8 cm.

The new product joins BioLab’s established family of placental membrane allografts, including Membrane Wrap Lite^™, Tri-Membrane Wrap^™, Membrane Wrap^™ and Membrane Wrap - Hydro^™. Together, the portfolio provides healthcare providers with a range of membrane constructions, sizes and configurations to support product selection based on individual procedural needs.
