Reproductive Endocrinologist and former Jefferson-RMA Fellow Dr. Blake Vessa Joins RMA New Jersey, Expanding Fertility Care in the Region

BASKING RIDGE, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IVI RMA North America, a leader in fertility care and assisted reproduction, announced today that Dr. Blake Vessa, a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist, has joined the RMA New Jersey care team. Dr. Vessa is now seeing patients at RMA Basking Ridge, IVI RMA’s flagship clinic, located at 140 Allen Road.

Dr. Vessa earned her undergraduate degrees in Biology and Spanish from Washington and Lee University, earning induction into the Alpha Epsilon Delta Premedical Honor Society. She received her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, where she was awarded the John M. Gibbons Award to support her attendance at the ACOG Annual Clinical & Scientific Meeting.

Following medical school, Dr. Vessa’s training continued with a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Rutgers Health/Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center Program, where she served as Education Chief Resident and received the Resident Research Award. She completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility through the Jefferson-RMA program.

Dr. Vessa has authored several peer-reviewed publications in leading journals, including Obstetrics & Gynecology (The Green Journal), Fertility and Sterility, Fertility and Sterility Reports, and the Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics. Her research has also been presented at national meetings, including the Society for Reproductive Investigation, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society.
