MEDIACOM PARK, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mediacom Communications today announced the appointment of Anthony Bowling as Senior Vice President, Field Operations Strategy & Operational Excellence. In this role, Bowling will lead the development and implementation of Mediacom’s enterprise operating strategy for field operations, with a focus on operational excellence, service reliability, customer experience, capital effectiveness and consistency across the company’s markets.

Bowling will establish and oversee the operating framework, governance, standards, and performance management processes that support Mediacom’s field operations. Working closely with Area Directors and Vice Presidents, who will continue to have responsibility for day-to-day market execution, he will drive greater standardization, operational discipline, service assurance and continuous improvement across the organization.

“Anthony brings a tremendous depth of experience and a proven track record of improving operational performance across large, complex telecommunications organizations,” said Toni Murphy, Mediacom’s EVP of Operations. “His expertise in developing data-driven operating models, improving workforce performance and strengthening accountability will be a tremendous asset as we continue to enhance the way we operate and serve our customers.”

Bowling is an accomplished field operations executive with extensive experience leading technical, retail and customer-facing organizations across the telecommunications industry. Throughout his career, Bowling has delivered measurable improvements in operational performance, including transforming key performance indicators into more customer-focused measures, achieving double-digit gains in construction quality and developing operational programs designed to improve technician performance and frontline leadership.

“I'm excited to join Mediacom at a time when the company is making significant investments in its network, its people and the customer experience,” said Bowling. “I look forward to working with the field leadership team and employees across the company to build on the strong foundation already in place and create even greater consistency, efficiency and operational excellence across our markets.”

A native of Chicago, Bowling received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University and an MBA in Management from the University of St. Thomas. He and his wife, LeDonna, have two adult children. Outside of work, Anthony is an avid reader with a passion for continuous learning.
