Project Santa Fe Foundation Expands Leadership With Three Distinguished New Board Members to Advance Predictive, Value-Based Laboratory Medicine

SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Project Santa Fe Foundation (PSFF) and Clinical Lab 2.0 (CL2.0) are pleased to welcome three distinguished leaders to the Board of Directors. They each bring deep expertise to advance the global movement of transitioning laboratories from reactive confirmation of diagnosis to proactive prediction using risk stratification of data the lab already possesses.

Dr. Jordà possesses over 25 years of academic and consultative pathology leadership focused on cancer care, Dr. Morice has contributed decades of hematopathology expertise and national leadership, and Dr. Weir offers a physician's perspective on value-based care and population health strategy. Together, these leaders strengthen our mission to build the evidence base for laboratory-driven, value-based, patient-centered care.

When asked about his decision to join the PSFF Board, Dr. Morice thoughtfully replied, “Throughout my career in laboratory medicine and pathology, I’ve seen the value our profession creates for the entire healthcare community. However, for that value to be recognized, fostered, and rewarded, we must leverage our domain knowledge and develop transformational models for both clinical delivery and reimbursement. That is why I am so humbled and delighted to join the PSFF board and [to] have the opportunity to contribute to the pursuit of its mission.”

Dr. Weir added, “A lot of my career has centered on finding better ways to use clinical data to improve care at the population level. The work Project Santa Fe [Foundation] is doing aligns closely with the questions I’ve been working on for years, and I’m looking forward to contributing where I can.”

Please join us in formally celebrating these trailblazers joining the PSFF and CL2.0 team!
