CPV Retail Ranks #7 in Overall Satisfaction in 2025 ERCG ABC Study

Results reflect top marks amongst Ease of Doing Business, End User Customer Experience, and Price Competitiveness categories

SUGAR LAND, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CPV Retail, an affiliate of Competitive Power Ventures (CPV), and provider of low-carbon, reliable, and cost-effective energy solutions for C&I customers, strengthened its position as a leading supplier in the competitive energy market by ranking #7 in Overall Satisfaction in the 2025 ERCG ABC Study. The annual study, conducted by Energy Research Consulting Group (ERCG), benchmarks retail energy suppliers based on feedback from Aggregators, Brokers, and Consultants (ABCs) across the United States. CPV Retail also scored strongly in Ease of Doing Business and End User Customer Experience.

“It’s exciting to see a newer brand like CPV Retail continue to improve its performance year over year,” said Young Kim, Principal at ERCG. “The results reflect strong momentum for CPV Retail and a clear focus on serving partners in the ABC community through responsive customer service, competitive offerings, and an overall easier experience doing business.”

One survey respondent commented: “CPV Retail has been a pleasant surprise for us. They have been easy to work with, responsive to our requests, and very competitive. Part of this is due to the sales representative who works well with us, but the pricing, billing, and other teams behind the scenes have done a great job.”

CPV Retail ranks #3 in the Supplier Growth Rate category, representing healthy volume growth with ABCs.

“We’re proud of CPV Retail’s continued growth and the recognition reflected in this year’s ERCG ABC study results. As our operational capabilities continue to mature, we are better positioned to deliver the responsiveness, flexibility, and market insight that C&I customers and partners need.” said Qadir Khan, President of CPV Retail. “As a gentailer, we have the added advantage of understanding the market from both the retail and generation sides, giving us the ability to help customers navigate volatility with greater confidence and more tailored energy solutions.”

Since launching in 2022, CPV Retail has served commercial and industrial customers across PJM and NYISO with competitive pricing and transparent, sustainable energy solutions, including fixed and managed products that can leverage CPV’s operating portfolio.
