Based on consumer-initiated testing across 10 states, the results demonstrate Fidium’s strength across download speed, upload speed, responsiveness, reliability and gaming experience.

Highlights from Fidium’s Q1–Q2 2026 performance rankings:*

• More than 370 wins across 10 states
• 152 wins for most responsive internet, with latency averaging 30% better than the second-place provider, including cable and wireless providers
• 108 wins for fastest upload speeds
• 52 markets where Fidium ranked first in at least three of four measured categories: download speed, upload speed, reliability and responsiveness

The majority of Fidium’s wins were earned across its northern New England service area, reinforcing its position as the region’s leading fiber provider:

• Maine: Fidium earned more than 85 top rankings throughout the state, including for the Portland-Cumberland, Lewiston-Auburn and Bangor markets, as well as communities within Aroostook, Hancock, Knox, Lincoln, Sagadahoc and York counties.
  • Fidium’s upload speed results for both Bucksport and Kennebunkport were more than 1,500% faster than the nearest competitor.
  • Fidium earned all four top local rankings (fastest upload, fastest download, most reliable and most responsive speeds) for Scarborough and York, as well as for Androscoggin County.
• New Hampshire: Fidium swept all five statewide performance categories, earning the state’s fastest download and upload speeds, lowest latency, most reliable internet and best gaming experience. The results include Fidium’s first statewide wins for download speed, reliability, and gaming experience. Fidium earned more than 130 top rankings across the state, including for the Seacoast, Greater Manchester, Capital Region, Lakes Region and the North Country.
  • Fidium’s statewide upload-speed results in New Hampshire were 45% faster than the nearest competitor
  • Fidium’s upload-speed results for Laconia and Portsmouth were each more than 200% faster than the nearest competitor.
  • Fidium earned all four top local rankings (fastest upload, fastest download, most reliable and most responsive speeds) in Bedford, Hooksett, Londonderry, Manchester, Nashua, as well as for Hillsborough, Merrimack, Rockingham and Strafford counties.
• Vermont: Fidium secured its first statewide performance wins, earning recognition for the state’s fastest download speeds, fastest upload speeds and most reliable internet. Fidium also earned more than 70 top rankings across the state, including for Chittenden, Lamoille, Franklin and Addison counties.
  • Fidium’s statewide upload-speed results in Vermont were 35% faster than the nearest competitor.
  • Fidium’s upload-speed results for Morristown were 1,086% faster than the nearest competitor.
  • Fidium earned all four top local rankings (fastest upload, fastest download, most reliable and most responsive speeds) in both Stowe and Waterbury, as well as for Chittenden, Franklin and Lamoille counties.
