Bojangles Debuts Famous Carolina Flavor with First Arizona Restaurant

Southern favorite opens at 3765 S. Val Vista Drive, offering signature chicken, biscuits and tea

PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Bojangles, the legendary, Carolina-born chain celebrated for its iconic chicken and biscuits, has officially landed in the Phoenix DMA. The new restaurant, located at 3765 S. Val Vista Drive in Gilbert, Ariz., officially opened its doors to the public today at 5 a.m.

To celebrate bringing a taste of Carolina flavor to the Grand Canyon State, Bojangles kicked things off with a special sweepstakes. On opening day, 10 lucky customers were entered to win free breakfast for a year – giving them the chance to enjoy Gilbert's newest chicken spot every single day. In addition, the first 100 customers in the door received a $100 Bojangles gift card.

This expansion into Arizona marks a significant step in Bojangles’ strategic growth plan. In the past year, the brand has successfully entered new markets, with its most recent opening Morganville, N.J., following expansions into in Oklahoma City, Grand Rapids, Mich., Austin, Texas; Brooklyn, N.Y.; Piscataway, N.J.; Las Vegas, Nev.; Columbus, Ohio; Baton Rouge, La. and additional Texas locations including Dallas and Houston.
