Sincere Foundation Awards $200K in Grants to 17 Massachusetts Nonprofits

Grant recipients include organizations that address food security, housing stability, and safe spaces; and serve more than 400,000 residents annually

FRAMINGHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sincere Foundation (www.sincere.com) today announced that it has awarded $200,000 in new grants to 17 Massachusetts organizations that address the basic needs of a community – food security, housing stability, and safe spaces. Since its inception in 2023, Sincere Foundation has awarded more than $1.2 million in grants to nonprofits that seek to break cycles of poverty and social isolation. This latest round of funding includes 7 first-time grant recipients and 10 returning nonprofit partners, which reflects the Foundation’s commitment to both expand its reach and invest in programs with demonstrated impact.

“We are proud to support this remarkable group of nonprofit organizations and the essential work they do across Massachusetts,” said Rebecca Reiner, Executive Director, Sincere Foundation. “Together, these grant recipients reach more than 400,000 residents who face challenges related to food security, housing stability, and access to safe spaces. Their collective impact strengthens communities throughout the Commonwealth and we are honored to help advance their efforts.”

Among the grant recipients is Abby’s House, which received $15,000 in support of its mission to provide shelter, housing, and advocacy services for women and children experiencing homelessness. Founded in Worcester in 1976, Abby’s House opened the first shelter for women in Worcester County and has since grown into one of the region’s most important resources for affordable and supportive housing. The funding from Sincere Foundation will help sustain vital programs to ensure women and children have the resources necessary to build independent futures.

“This generous grant from Sincere Foundation will continue to help the women and children of Abby's House get back on their feet and thrive,” said Larissa Swenson, Associate Director of Development and Communications, Abby’s House. “This year marks our 50th anniversary, and the need for support has never been greater. As homelessness and the affordable housing crisis deepen across Worcester and Central Massachusetts, the investment from Sincere Foundation will provide hope, stability, and a second chance for the families we serve.”

The following organizations received grants from Sincere Foundation:

Food Security

Housing Stability

Safe Spaces

Sincere Foundation considers grants from organizations that are a registered 501(c)3 within the USA, have a total operating budget of $25 million or less, provide services within Massachusetts, and align with the organization’s funding priorities. Grant proposals for up to $25,000 must be submitted by September 14, 2026 for review in December 2026.
