Sincere Foundation Reaches $1MM Milestone in Grants to Massachusetts Nonprofits to Support Basic Needs

$250K in new grants support food security, housing stability, and safe spaces

FRAMINGHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sincere Foundation (www.sincere.com) today announced that it has awarded $250,000 in new grants to 20 organizations that address basic needs in Massachusetts communities. With this most recent round of funding, the Foundation reaches a milestone of $1 million awarded to 56 organizations in its three years of operation. Boston-based technology company Sincere Corporation created Sincere Foundation in 2023. The Foundation is made possible by the support of the Company and its family of brands: Punchbowl®, Lovebird®, Timehop®, and Memento®.

"Sincere Foundation is thrilled to reach this million dollar milestone and continue our commitment to support nonprofits across Massachusetts,” said Rebecca Reiner, Executive Director, Sincere Foundation. “In our latest round of grants, we funded more organizations than ever before. These nonprofits do exceptional work to support our most vulnerable communities, and in the face of federal funding cuts, we are proud to help sustain the essential services they provide."

Grants from Sincere Foundation support programs that address the basic needs of a community: food security, housing stability, and safe spaces. Many of the organizations funded by the Foundation focus on cycle-breaking programs and initiatives. However, in response to recent federal funding changes that have negatively impacted the financial landscape for many nonprofits, this most recent round of funding included several one-time grants for food pantries and shelters that respond to immediate and urgent needs.

Among the nonprofits that received a grant from Sincere Foundation is Lower Cape Outreach Council (LCOC), which received $20,000 as a first-time grant recipient. LCOC operates nine emergency food pantries on the Cape, offers emergency financial assistance, and provides clothing and household goods to help families stabilize during times of crisis. The grant from Sincere Foundation will be used to purchase and stock essential food items for their expanded Food Pantry Program.

“We’re deeply grateful for the support of Sincere Foundation as food insecurity continues to rise across the Lower and Outer Cape,” shared Katie Wibby, CEO, Lower Cape Outreach Council. “As demand surges, this funding will help keep our pantry shelves stocked and provide a vital safety net for families before they reach a breaking point.”

The following organizations received grants from Sincere Foundation:

Food Security

Housing Stability

Safe Spaces

Sincere Foundation considers grants from organizations that are a registered 501(c)3 within the USA, have a total operating budget of $25 million or less, provide services within Massachusetts, and align with the organization’s funding priorities. Grant proposals for up to $25,000 must be submitted by March 2, 2026 for review in June 2026.
