Denis A. Bovin Joins Academy Securities' Advisory Board

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Academy Securities, the nation’s first Post-9/11 veteran owned and operated investment bank, today announced the addition of Denis A. Bovin to its Advisory Board.

Denis Bovin is Chairman and CEO of Palimere Group and serves as Chairman of the Advisory Board for MIT Lincoln Laboratory. His career in finance and national security spans five decades, during which he has advised senior leaders and governance boards of domestic and international companies and government agencies. Earlier in his career, he served as a Senior Advisor at Evercore Partners, Co-Chairman and Co-CEO of Stone Key Partners, and Chairman of the Global Technology, Media, and Telecom Group at Bear Stearns. He began his career at Salomon Brothers, where he ultimately led the Investment Banking Corporate Coverage and Capital Markets Divisions.

Mr. Bovin holds a B.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He received a Presidential appointment to the President's Intelligence Advisory Board and has served on the Defense Science Board and Defense Business Board. He is a recipient of the Department of Defense Medal for Distinguished Public Service and the 2018 Ellis Island Medal of Honor.
