CI Global Asset Management Announces Name Changes for 37 Former Invesco Mutual Funds and ETFs

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CI Global Asset Management (“CI GAM”) today announced name changes for 37 mutual funds and ETFs previously managed by Invesco Canada Ltd. (“Invesco Canada”). The changes follow the acquisition by CI GAM of the management agreements of 98 Invesco Canada mutual funds and exchange-traded funds in connection with the closing of the previously announced transaction that was completed yesterday.

The name changes listed below will be effective on or about July 31, 2026, subject to applicable regulatory approvals. Investors should note the following about these changes:

• These mutual funds are being rebranded “CI AIMvest” to distinguish them from other CI mutual funds.
• The fund codes of the mutual funds, including the prefix “AIM”, are not changing.
• There are no changes to the ticker symbols of the ETFs listed below.
• Those ETFs that invest in securities of U.S.-listed ETFs managed by Invesco (included under the heading “ETFs of ETFs” below) are being rebranded “CI Invesco.” The remaining ETFs are being rebranded as “CI” ETFs.

Risk rating change
CI GAM also announced that the risk rating of Invesco Global Equity Income Advantage Fund has been changed to Low-to-Medium from Medium, effective immediately. The risk rating change is based on the risk classification methodology mandated by the Canadian Securities Administrators to determine the risk level of mutual funds. CI GAM reviews the risk rating for each of the funds it manages at least on an annual basis, as well as when a fund undergoes a material change. This change is the result of CI GAM’s ongoing internal reviews and is not the result of any changes to the investment objectives, strategies or management of the fund.
