Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits Closes Acquisition of Clare Rose Inc.

MIAMI & DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits (Southern Glazer's)—the world’s preeminent distributor of beverage alcohol—today announced the successful closing of its acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Clare Rose Inc. (Clare Rose). Effective immediately, the business will operate under the name Southern Glazer’s Beverage Company of New York, servicing Nassau and Suffolk counties in Long Island, New York.

The transaction includes the exciting opportunity to distribute Anheuser-Busch’s full product portfolio currently sold in the Long Island area—from its industry-leading beer brands, including Michelob ULTRA, Busch Light, Budweiser, and Bud Light, to its fast-growing hard beverages, including Cutwater Spirits, NÜTRL Vodka Seltzer, and BeatBox Beverages, to its new energy drink line, Phorm Energy—along with Tilray Brands, Pabst Brewing Company, and a range of brands from additional suppliers.
