Allerium Expands Canadian Footprint with New Gatineau Facility to Support Next Generation 9-1-1

Facility strengthens call handling operations, builds on deployment momentum, and supports agencies across North America and globally

CHANDLER, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 12, 2026-- Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ: CMTL) (“Comtech” or the “Company”), a global communications technology leader, today announced the opening of its new purpose-built facility in Gatineau, Quebec, supporting its Allerium segment.

The new office reflects Allerium’s continued commitment to Canada and its long-standing presence in the region. Allerium is grateful for the support of the City of Gatineau and the Province of Quebec, whose partnership has helped enable this next phase of growth. Designed to support collaboration and operations, the facility will serve as a core location for the company’s call handling solutions, advancing Next Generation 9-1-1 (“NG9-1-1”) and the systems that enable public safety professionals to respond when every second counts.

Allerium has maintained a presence in Gatineau for several years, and this facility marks the next phase of that commitment. The move follows a collaboration with the City of Gatineau, which is redeveloping Allerium’s previous location as part of a new police services facility—reinforcing a shared commitment to public safety in the region. The City of Gatineau has funded the development of Allerium's new facility.

“At Allerium, our mission is to support those who serve on the front lines of public safety,” said Jeff Robertson, President of Allerium, a Comtech segment. “This facility reflects our continued investment in Canada and our commitment to delivering reliable solutions that help protect communities when it matters most. We are also appreciative of the strong support from the City of Gatineau and the Province of Quebec, which have been instrumental in enabling this transition. This also creates an opportunity to expand our team here in Gatineau—building on a strong foundation to build technology that helps people reach help when they need it most, here in Canada and for agencies across North America and the world.”

Allerium’s new facility in Canada builds on strong operational momentum. This includes the recent go-live of the Gatineau 9-1-1 agency, as well as more than a dozen Next Generation 9-1-1 upgrades in Canada this year. These milestones reflect Allerium’s expanding role in modernizing emergency communications infrastructure and supporting public safety agencies in Canada and worldwide.

The Gatineau facility strengthens Allerium’s ability to support customers across Canada while contributing to a broader footprint of public safety agencies across North America and internationally. It also creates new opportunities for local talent to contribute to solutions that have a direct impact on public safety operations. The company is actively growing its team in the region as part of its long-term commitment to innovation and community impact.

To mark the occasion, Allerium is hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony with employees, partners, and community representatives.
