MSG Sports Names Paul DiCicco Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Madison Square Garden Sports Corp. (NYSE: MSGS) (“MSG Sports”) announced today that Paul DiCicco, a strategic finance leader with diverse experience, including in the sports and entertainment industry, is joining the Company as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, effective May 11.

In this role, Mr. DiCicco will work closely with MSG Sports’ leadership team to provide strategic financial insight on all facets of the business and support the Company’s long-term direction. He will be responsible for financial and accounting duties across MSG Sports and its professional sports franchises, including internal and external reporting, financial planning and analysis, and the Company’s treasury, investor relations, tax and risk management functions. MSG Sports’ current Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, Victoria Mink, will be staying to assist with the transition. Mr. DiCicco will report to MSG Sports’ Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Jim Dolan.

Mr. DiCicco has 30 years of experience in a range of global finance roles. He joins MSG Sports from Stephen Gould Corporation, a global packaging, sourcing, and logistics company, where he served as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Stephen Gould, Mr. DiCicco was at Harris Blitzer Sports and Entertainment (HBSE), where he served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Controller. In this role, he directed finance, accounting, payroll and ticket operations for the sports and entertainment company, whose portfolio includes the Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devils. Prior to HBSE, Mr. DiCicco’s experience includes various senior finance and accounting roles at both public and private companies in the U.S. and Asia. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, providing audit and advisory services to clients across a range of industries including retail, technology, and healthcare.

Mr. DiCicco graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Saint John Fisher College. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
