SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IVI RMA North America, a leader in fertility care and assisted reproduction, today announced that Dr. Brent Hanson, a reproductive endocrinologist and former Jefferson-RMA fellow, has joined the RMA Northern California clinical team. Board-certified in both obstetrics/gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility, Dr. Hanson is now scheduling new patients for telehealth and in-person appointments at RMA Palo Alto, located at 1900 University Ave., Suite 101 in East Palo Alto and RMA San Francisco, located at 150 Spear St., Suite 500. He was previously part of the RMA San Diego clinical team.

Dr. Hanson earned his medical degree from the West Virginia University School of Medicine, where he was awarded the Dr. Hugh Carr Scholarship for academic excellence. He completed his obstetrics & gynecology residency at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City where he was honored with the Best Grand Rounds presentation and Resident Research Award.
He went on to complete a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Thomas Jefferson University – Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey, where he trained in state-of-the art laboratory techniques and conducted research on preimplantation genetic testing, oocyte cryopreservation, male factor infertility, embryo culture, and third-party reproduction for LGBTQIA2S+ patients. Before joining IVI RMA North America Dr. Hanson practiced in Minneapolis.
