Maesa Promotes Dana Steinfeld to Chief Blue Sky & Innovation Officer

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Maesa today announced the promotion of Dana Steinfeld to Chief Blue Sky & Innovation Officer, recognizing her longstanding impact on the company’s innovation engine and brand-building strategy. The move underscores Maesa’s continued investment in innovation as a core driver of growth. In an industry where fewer than 1 in 10 beauty launches succeed, Maesa’s success rate is better than 2 in 3 - a track record attributed to “Maesa Magic”: a deep understanding of consumers, best-in-class brand building, and a constant spirit of experimentation.

In her expanded role, Steinfeld will lead Maesa’s Blue Sky organization and oversee product development across the company's portfolio - reporting directly to CEO, Piyush Jain. She will be responsible for shaping Maesa’s long-term innovation agenda, incubating new brands, and bringing consumer-first products to market across categories and channels.

Steinfeld has been with Maesa for more than 14 years and has played a key role in developing many of the company’s most successful and fast-growing brands. Her work spans fragrance, personal care, skincare, and haircare, consistently delivering culturally relevant brands that resonate with both consumers and retail partners.

With more than two decades of experience in beauty and fragrance, Steinfeld brings a unique combination of creative instinct and operational rigor.

“Dana embodies the entrepreneurial spirit at the core of Maesa,” said Piyush Jain, Chief Executive Officer. “She has a rare ability to identify white space, inspire teams, and translate bold ideas into scalable brands. This promotion reflects both her impact to date and the critical role she will play as we continue to evolve our portfolio and innovation strategy.”

Known for her deep expertise in fragrance and her people-first leadership style, Steinfeld has been instrumental in fostering Maesa’s culture of creativity and experimentation. In her new role, she will continue to push the boundaries of innovation while building the next generation of brands.

As Dana shares “I’m thrilled to lead the Blue Sky team as we build the next generation of coveted brands and addictive products, always striving to serve unmet needs. The beauty and wellness landscape has transformed rapidly; our team will continue to evolve and bring compelling innovation that meets consumers where they are, anticipates what’s next, and pushes the boundaries with curiosity, experimentation & creativity.”
