Voyager Enables International Commercial Space Economy

Global partnership accelerates access to in-space research and manufacturing

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Voyager Technologies (NYSE: VOYG) expanded the Voyager Institute for Space, Technology and Advancement (VISTA) science park ecosystem with Obuda University in Budapest, Hungary, further enabling the commercial space economy.

“This agreement reflects the global demand for in-space research and manufacturing capabilities,” said Jeffrey Manber, special representative to the Chairman and CEO, Voyager. “By partnering with leading institutions like Obuda University, we are enabling an international pipeline for the commercial LEO economy.”

The MOU grants Obuda University reserved research resources, tenant opportunities and a seat alongside Fortune 500 companies, startups and government agencies within the VISTA ecosystem. The partnership is anchored by a broad collaborative framework covering research, education and technology development.

Obuda University is a recognized leader in engineering and business across Central Europe, with a growing foothold in the space domain. The MOU brings this talent and research capacity into the VISTA ecosystem.

VISTA is the first-of-its-kind U.S. science park dedicated to in-space research, manufacturing and services, located on the campus of The Ohio State University. VISTA unites aerospace companies, fast-moving startups, leading academic institutions and government agencies in a dynamic, platform-agnostic ecosystem built to accelerate discovery, collaboration and commercialization. With access to the International Space Station and future commercial space platforms, VISTA tenants develop next-generation space-based technologies and services across civil, commercial and national security markets.
