Under the terms of the agreement, KDC will retain the right to acquire an additional 30% ownership stake in the company. The existing Eagle Mountain Data management team will retain full control of all day-to-day operations and strategic decision-making, ensuring continuity in the execution of the current development pipeline. Together with KDC, the Company will be able to expand and incorporate additional sustainable and renewable technologies as part of its core offering.

The partnership brings together two organizations with deep expertise in energy, fiberoptic, and data centers. KDC's background includes developing, building, and owning over $4 billion of infrastructure — encompassing 625MW of natural gas cogeneration, 100+ MW of net-metered solar, and the nation's largest privately held telecom company spanning 40 cities. Eagle Mountain is led by Alan Niedzwiecki as CEO and Thomas Schneider, COO, who stems from the Schneider Power family, and have developed and operated an array of power generation technologies, including over 3,000 MW of wind and solar energy in North America and the Caribbean.

"This partnership represents a fusion of institutional capital and specialized technical expertise," said Alan Niedzwiecki, CEO of Eagle Mountain Data. "With KDC's support, we are positioned to meet the unprecedented demand for the next generation of generative AI compute capacity."

"Bringing these two development teams together — each with decades of experience in energy, fiberoptic, and infrastructure — paired with institutional capital, creates something truly compelling," said Harold Kamine, Co-founder of KDC. "We are excited by Eagle Mountain’s vision of deploying agile, high-performance AI factories that can bring near term capacity online in months, not years. With a pipeline this robust we are actively engaging with off takers across industries seeking immediate scale."
