The Story of Canada Through the Stories of Immigrant Nationbuilders

Vote now for the 18th annual Top 25 Canadian Immigrant Awards, presented by Western Union

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--As Canada works to build a stronger, more independent country, let’s not forget that the strength of our country’s economy, innovation and culture has been interwoven with the contributions of its people, including immigrants who have adopted this country as their own. Canadian Immigrant magazine, in partnership with Western Union, is, for the 18th year, proud to celebrate the contributions of Canadians who have chosen this country to build their careers, families and legacies through the 2026 Top 25 Canadian Immigrant Awards.

With the support of presenting sponsor Western Union, we are pleased to open the voting phase of the 18th annual Top 25 Canadian Immigrant Awards of 2026.

The Top 25 Canadian Immigrant Awards is the first and only national awards program celebrating immigrant contributions from coast to coast to not only share their success stories, but to provide role models for other newcomers.

So, let’s get voting at www.canadianimmigrant.ca/top25 and shine a spotlight on these 75 finalists who contribute to Canada’s economy, innovation, arts and communities.

Immigrants who have been honoured with this prestigious national award in past years include Toronto Argonauts’ Hénoc Muamba, Nature’s Path entrepreneur Ratana Stephens, restaurateur Vikram Vij, prima ballerina Chan Hon Goh, as well as many unsung heroes who have demonstrated incredible contributions in their communities and for the country.

“Building a stronger future is about coming together as a nation, recognizing the contributions of everyone who has made Canada better. This year’s 75 finalists are true examples of leaders who are building careers and companies while giving back to their communities and fellow Canadians,” said Sanjay Agnihotri, Publisher of Canadian Immigrant, a national multimedia platform and producer of the awards. “Join us in voting for the Top 25 Canadian Immigrant Awards of 2026.”

Time to vote!

The public can now vote for up to three of their favourite finalists online at www.canadianimmigrant.ca/top25 until June 12, 2026.

The award winners will be announced online at www.canadianimmigrant.ca and in the August issue of Canadian Immigrant magazine.
