Postmedia Expands Diversified Business Model with Acquisition of accelerate360 Canada

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Postmedia Network Inc. (“Postmedia” or the “Company”) today announced it has acquired Accelerate360 Canada Inc. Leveraging collective strengths from nearly 250 years of experience delivering the news and five years growing a parcel delivery operation, this acquisition returns a business to Canadian ownership and increases Postmedia’s scope to include a key supply chain partner providing wholesale distribution and merchandising for book and magazine publishers, and household brands across Canada.

“Through this acquisition, we are continuing to diversify our business model that helps fuel our core purpose of delivering excellence in journalism,” said Andrew MacLeod, President and Chief Executive Officer of Postmedia. “Postmedia has a long-standing focus on Canada’s cultural and commercial heritage.
