IgniteData Announces Key Additions to Senior Leadership Team

Appointments of New Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Product Officer to Support Company’s Rapid Scale Up of Archer Platform

NEW CASTLE, Del.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IgniteData, a leader in intelligent clinical trial data automation, today announced the appointment of Laura Hilty as Chief Strategy Officer and Joe Lengfellner as Chief Product Officer.

“In digital health and clinical research, real innovation takes more than cutting-edge technology; it takes exceptional leaders with the vision, experience, and drive to put that technology to work,” said Zach Taft, CEO of IgniteData. “This is a pivotal and incredibly exciting moment in IgniteData’s evolution. Every day, we’re seeing the Archer platform more fully realize its potential to transform how clinical data moves between sites and sponsors. Laura and Joe bring a proven track record of building and scaling impactful technology solutions, and their leadership will be critical as we continue accelerating high-quality research and helping get new treatments to patients faster.”

For nearly two decades, Hilty has focused on driving improvements in healthcare and clinical research in leadership roles spanning corporate strategy, corporate development, product management, and partnerships for companies at various stages of development from start-up to scale. During her career, Hilty has led leadership roles at several leading clinical research technology firms including Advarra, Forte Research Systems, and Epic. She also serves as a Principal at HealthX Ventures, a digital healthcare-focused venture capital firm and an investor in IgniteData, where she leads co-investor relationships and serves on boards. Her operating role at IgniteData will amplify product planning, partnerships, and go to market strategies. Hilty received her Bachelor of Arts in Molecular and Cell Biology from Vanderbilt University.

A digital health innovator, Lengfellner joins IgniteData from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), where for more than 15 years he’s been at the forefront of deploying technologies that enhance the patient and clinician experience, streamline operations, and foster innovative clinical trials. In his most recent role as Senior Director of Clinical Research Informatics & Technology at MSK, Lengfellner led a large and dynamic team of digital health and information technology professionals supporting the organization’s global clinical research portfolio. As Chief Product Officer, Lengfellner will lead product innovation and delivery that is zeroed in on delivering IgniteData’s mission to make hospital to sponsor clinical data flow fast, reliable, and research ready. Lengfellner received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The State University of New York at Stony Brook.

“For the better portion of my almost two decades in clinical research, I have been passionate about solving site / sponsor inefficiency problems in clinical trials in a way that is site-centric yet gives sponsors what they need to drive faster treatments for trials,” said Hilty. “IgniteData epitomizes how these challenges can be solved through a deeply collaborative and comprehensive approach and I could not be more thrilled to join forces with this team to help achieve this mission.”

“In my career, I have seen first-hand how difficult it can be to transfer clinical data between sites and sponsors and how costly delays emerge when these processes break down,” said Lengfellner. “I am thrilled to join an organization that is uniquely positioned to help clinical research teams overcome these persistent challenges and allow them to instead focus squarely on the development of life-saving treatments.”

Momentum Continues

Today’s leadership team appointments mark the latest demonstration of the rapid adoption of IgniteData’s technology platform from pilot to global scale. In November of 2025, the Company announced the final close of its oversubscribed $11 million Series A funding round to support this accelerated scale up. The round was led by FCA Venture Partners, with the Labcorp Venture Fund and Epsilon anchoring the final close as the primary investors.

IgniteData’s leadership team will also be at the upcoming 17th Annual Scope Summit, being held in Orlando, Florida from February 2-5, 2026 (Booth # 318).
