CMMC Accreditation Body Welcomes Four New Directors
NATIONAL HARBOR, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Cyber AB announced today the election of its officers to lead its Board of Directors in 2026-2027, as well as four (4) appointments of new Directors. Current Chair Paul Michaels was re-elected by the Board to serve as Chairman for another term, while Debbie Taylor Moore was elected as Vice Chair. Katherine Hennessey will serve as Secretary and Wayne Boline was elected to the at-large position on the Board’s Executive Committee. Chairman Emeritus Jeff Dalton remains an active Director and member of the Executive Committee as well.
Mr. Michaels is the founder and CEO of Monoc, an industrial security firm specializing in foreign ownership, control, and influence (FOCI) compliance and trusted advisory services to corporate boards and executive leadership. Ms. Moore is the founder and CEO of The Quantum Crunch, a quantum security advisory firm. Ms. Hennessey is the head of government services at NightDragon, a technology investment firm. Mr. Boline is a director in the corporate governance, risk, and compliance organization at RTX. And Mr. Dalton is the founder of Broadsword Solutions, LLC, a quality management consulting and appraisal company.
In addition, four new Directors have been appointed to the Board. Michele Iversen, Beth Leonard, Kemba Walden, and Sounil Yu. All began their service at the Board’s first meeting of the new year that was held last week in Northern Virginia.
Ms. Iversen is a principal and head of geopolitical and regulatory risk at The Chertoff Group. Previously she served as the director of risk assessment and operational integration at the Department of Defense. She has been an information technology supply chain risk management expert for most of her professional career. Her prior service included positions within the Intelligence Community and Federal civilian executive branch agencies.
Ms. Leonard, an award-winning speaker, is the chief operating officer (COO) at R3, LLC, a provider of cloud, cybersecurity, and compliance solutions for mid-market and enterprise organizations. She has over 30 years of experience in IT, cyber/information security management, and quality assurance. She is a certified ISO Lead Auditor, a Six Sigma Black Belt, and an A2LA FedRAMP assessor. Ms. Leonard works in a multitude of compliance frameworks supporting both the Federal Government and commercial industries.
Ms. Walden currently serves as the President of the Paladin Global Institute, a subsidiary of the Paladin Capital Group. She served as the acting National Cyber Director in 2023 and was previously the principal deputy in the Office of the National Cyber Director. An attorney, Ms. Walden has also held senior positions at Microsoft and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).
Mr. Yu is the co-founder and chief AI officer at Knostic. He previously served as the Chief Security Scientist at Bank of America and CISO at JupiterOne. He is also an established author, speaker, and advisor within the cybersecurity and technology communities. Mr. Yu created the Cyber Defense Matrix, the DIE Triad, and the Data Security Maturity Model frameworks, which have been influential in shaping cybersecurity strategy and maturity for many enterprises and national governments.
The transition of newly elected offices and Board appointments is within the normal cycle of the organization’s governance protocols.

The new Board officers assumed their duties on January 1st and will serve a two-year term as officers. The newly appointed Directors will serve initial four-year terms on the Board.
