Engineering Resource Group Receives Strategic Investment from Godspeed Capital
Establishes ERG as Godspeed’s New Engineering, Consulting, and Design Platform Specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Services
FLOWOOD, Miss.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Engineering Resource Group, Inc. (“ERG” or the “Company”), a leading mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (“MEP ”) engineering, consulting, and design firm, today announced that it has received a strategic investment from Godspeed Capital Management LP (“Godspeed”), a lower middle-market Defense & Government services, solutions, and technology-focused private equity firm. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Godspeed will partner closely with ERG to establish the Company as the platform brand of a new MEP-focused engineering, consulting, and design firm across rapidly growing markets in Mississippi and the greater Southeastern United States. ERG leverages an experienced and growing workforce coupled with strategic geographic reach. Its leadership team will work closely with Godspeed to scale its presence, while continuing to serve a growing roster of public, private, and government clients.
Founded in 1989, ERG is an MEP engineering, consulting and design firm specializing in building mechanical design, energy conservation, energy analysis, energy management, control system design, building operation, maintenance, and system commissioning. The firm serves clients across the education, government, defense, energy, healthcare, industrial, commercial, and housing sectors and has built a strong reputation throughout with repeated quality and excellence.
