Godspeed-Backed BNP Group Acquires U.S. Cost Incorporated

Adds Critical Cost Management and Project Controls Expertise to Growing Aviation Platform

While Expanding Platform’s Reach into Government, Healthcare and Education Markets

FAIRFIELD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BNP Group (“BNP” or the “Company”), a leading air transportation design and engineering firm backed by Godspeed Capital Management LP (“Godspeed”), today announced the acquisition of U.S. Cost Incorporated (“USC”), a global cost management and project controls firm that provides a comprehensive range of services across construction estimating, cost management, scheduling, and value engineering at every stage of development, from Schneider Electric S.E. The addition of USC further diversifies BNP’s portfolio of specialized aviation and supply chain engineering and consulting solutions with an adjacent, highly complementary cost estimation and project controls service line while expanding the platform’s exposure into attractive public-sector markets including government, healthcare, and education.

Founded in 1983 and headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia, USC is a pure-play provider of cost estimation services focused on regulatory-driven end markets including the transportation, government, healthcare, and education sectors. The company serves a blue-chip roster of public owners, including major U.S. airports such as Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, Miami International Airport and San Diego International Airport; U.S. federal agencies including the Architect of the Capitol (“AOC”), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (“USACE”), Naval Facilities Engineering Command (“NAVFAC”), and the General Services Administration (“GSA”); higher-education institutions such as the University of Mississippi and Georgetown University; and other municipal entities across the United States including the Port of Seattle, the City of Miami, and Fairfax County (Virginia), among others.

“U.S. Cost’s experience delivering cost management and project controls solutions across aviation and infrastructure markets strengthens BNP’s ability to serve clients with greater precision and depth,” said Damien Breier, Chief Executive Officer of BNP. “We look forward to working closely with Suzanne and the U.S. Cost team to better serve existing clients, deliver new capabilities, and provide even greater value as a full-service partner.”

Operating as a highly specialized owner’s representative and project controls consultant, USC’s domain expertise brings the full spectrum of cost estimation services including cost management, scheduling, value engineering, lifecycle cost analysis, risk assessment, program validation, and change order analysis to BNP, bolstering its suite of services. This expanded capability allows BNP to serve clients with a more comprehensive, integrated offering from early-stage estimating through project completion, reinforcing its position as a full-service leader in aviation design and engineering. At its core, USC empowers owners and engineering and construction professionals to build more cost effectively and sustainably, leveraging a legacy of over forty years providing independent, best-in-class consulting expertise. USC’s deep public-sector orientation, combined with accelerating investment in the modernization and expansion of critical infrastructure, positions the Company favorably for sustained long-term growth.

“We are excited to join the talented team at BNP as we enter our next phase of growth,” added Suzanne Moltzen, Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Cost. “This partnership enhances our ability to serve existing customers, pursue new opportunities, and offer a more comprehensive suite of services, while supporting BNP’s continued growth as a best-in-class service provider.”

“U.S. Cost is a strong addition to the BNP platform, bringing an important new service capability, established client relationships, and deep sector expertise,” added James Reid, Partner at Godspeed Capital. “The company’s decades of experience across complex, mission-critical projects will help BNP deliver more value to customers across the full project development and construction lifecycle.”

USC marks BNP’s fourth transaction following its acquisition of Airport Gurus, Studdiford Technical Solutions, LLC, and Establish, Inc. in 2025. BNP launched as Godspeed’s 8th dedicated platform in the fall of 2024 and is the fifth platform to offer specialized consulting, engineering, and design services at the intersection of public and private customers.
