Compensation Advisory Partners Appoints Lindsey Baker as Chief Marketing Officer
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Compensation Advisory Partners (CAP), a national executive compensation consulting firm, today announced the appointment of Lindsey Baker as Chief Marketing Officer. In this newly created role, Ms. Baker will lead CAP’s marketing strategy and business development initiatives to support the firm’s continued growth and market leadership in executive compensation consulting.

Ms. Baker brings deep expertise in board governance and corporate director engagement from her recent roles at BoardProspects, Accenture, and the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President of External Relations at board recruitment solutions provider BoardProspects, where she led engagement and community development initiatives across their governance network. Prior to that, she was Senior Manager of Board Effectiveness and Sustainability at Accenture, where she spearheaded the development of a board governance framework, led workshops for c-suite executives and board members, and managed external sponsorships with organizations like NACD and the Conference Board.
During her nearly decade-long tenure at NACD, Ms. Baker held progressively senior roles culminating in Director of Partner Relations, where she cultivated and managed sponsor partnerships, hosted and moderated panels with corporate directors and c-suite executives, and developed customized programs focused on governance best practices.

In her role as Chief Marketing Officer, Ms. Baker will oversee all aspects of CAP’s marketing function, including brand management, thought leadership development, strategic partnerships, and business development support. She will work closely with the firm’s Partners and consultants to strengthen relationships with boards, compensation committees, and executive teams.
Ms. Baker holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business-Marketing from Elon University. She is based in CAP’s New York office.
