SS2026 Beijing Fashion Week, Fabulously Ended with Historical 150 Events

BEIJING--(BUSINESS WIRE)--From September 10^th to 17^th, SS2026 Beijing Fashion Week broke a new record in successfully holding a total of 150 offline events through collaborating with a dozen city landmarks and gathering more than 300 brands and 150 designers.

Guo Pei, the renowned Chinese designer with his latest Haute Couture collection, kicked off this season’s Fashion Week. On the runways, new designs of Batik, Miao embroidery, Xiangyunsha and Song brocade showcased the charisma of traditional Chinese intangible cultural heritage; Ethnic cultural elements such as Manchu embroidery, Tibetan costumes and Xinjiang Etles silk made a refreshing appearance. Well-known brands and designers from Italy, Germany, Sweden and Nigeria also grabbed this opportunity to launch their new products.

Outstanding young Chinese artists from top institutions such as the Academy of Arts and Design at Tsinghua University, China Academy of Art, University of the Arts London, Central Saint Martins, Parsons School of Design, and the Royal College of Art, with their design works showcased at the “Beijing Fashion Week Emerging Designer Support Program”, fully demonstrated the innovative spirit of the new generation of designers.

At the WEEK UP Trend Exhibition, a parallel official event of Beijing Fashion Week, all visitors had a tangible, experiential and resonating experience while attending on-site show&sales and learning special skills, whether at a handicraft workshop, an aesthetic salon, or an open class. Meanwhile, the “Fashion Festival”, through collaborating with nearly a hundred commercial complexes in Beijing and Hebei, created an immersive consumption feast for people that are into shopping, entertainment and culture.

2025 marks the 10^th anniversary of Beijing Fashion Week. Over the past decade, born in Beijing and mutually flourishing with culture in the capital city, Beijing Fashion Week has been resonating with the times.
