Tanner Health and Healthliant Ventures to Partner with Robbie AI’s Smart Fall-Prevention Technology

CARROLLTON, Ga.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tanner Health and Healthliant Ventures are pleased to announce a partnership with Robbie AI. Robbie AI’s innovative, smart fall-prevention technology is bringing cutting-edge, real-time patient monitoring to Tanner’s facilities. The partnership will allow Robbie AI’s product to predict and prevent patient harm events through hands-free, 24/7 monitoring that integrates seamlessly into clinical workflows while maintaining the highest privacy standards.

The partnership reflects Healthliant Ventures’ mission to identify and introduce innovative healthcare technologies to Tanner. By using Robbie AI’s system in a real-world clinical environment, Tanner will measure its effectiveness in enhancing patient safety, streamlining workflows and reducing costly adverse events.

Robbie AI uses real-time facial and body scans, backed by a proprietary database of more than one billion expressions, to detect risks and provide instantaneous alerts — helping avert incidents before they occur. The system integrates with minimal IT disruption and does not record or store personal data to ensure HIPAA compliance. Robbie AI has demonstrated fall reductions of 90 percent in medical-surgical units and 99 percent in acute units, with estimated savings of $30,000 to $40,000 per patient.

“Through Healthliant Ventures, Tanner can identify and pilot innovative technologies like Robbie AI that have the potential to transform patient safety,” said Loy Howard, president and CEO of Tanner Health. “Their solution strengthens our ability to support patients proactively, reduce injury risk and reinforce clinical best practices — all with minimal infrastructure demands.”

Unlike traditional sitter-based models, Robbie AI operates continuously, raising the standard of care through unobtrusive surveillance that preserves patient privacy while not recording content. Alerts are delivered directly to staff devices, enabling rapid response and reducing the burden of manual observation. Its plug-and-play design and scalability make it a practical solution for both immediate needs and long-term safety goals.

“At Robbie AI, we believe technology should amplify compassion in health care by keeping patients safer while easing the workload on caregivers,” said Emir Muhovic, CEO of Robbie AI. “Partnering with Tanner Health and Healthliant Ventures is an opportunity to demonstrate how AI-driven, privacy-preserving monitoring technology can predict and prevent falls before they happen — setting a higher standard for patient safety. We are proud to support innovation and look forward to proving the positive impact this partnership can deliver for both patients and providers.”
