ASHEVILLE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Red Oak Recovery is proud to announce a significant transformation to its family of brands in western North Carolina. “Red Oak has long been recognized as an expert in treating adults struggling with substance use disorder,” said Mick Masterson, CEO, Red Oak Recovery. “We are excited to expand our services in an area where we have deep expertise, providing more opportunities for healing and long-term recovery for men.”

According to the National Center for Drug Abuse Statistics, nearly 20% of men struggle with substance use disorder. In North Carolina, 15.16% of adults aged 26 and over are estimated to meet criteria for a substance use disorder (alcohol or drugs) in a given year. (NC DHHS)

This change comes in response to the rising demand for high-quality residential treatment beds for men. By shifting the utilization of the Foothills campus, Red Oak Recovery is expanding access to much-needed care for this population at a crucial stage in their recovery journey.

“This transition allows us to meet the growing need for men’s recovery services in western North Carolina,” said Rob Marsh, CEO at Bradford Health Services. “By expanding Red Oak’s reach, we are increasing access to care and helping more men take their first steps toward lasting recovery.”

The transition also expands the continuum of care for adult males in western North Carolina, giving clients access to services earlier in their recovery journey. This will enhance accessibility and ensure individuals receive the right level of support when they need it most.

“At Red Oak Recovery, our mission is to meet people where they are and help them build a strong foundation for recovery,” added Masterson. “This rebranding and transition allow us to live out that mission with even greater impact for men in our region.”

With this expansion, Red Oak Recovery strengthens its role as a leader in compassionate, evidence-based care, offering hope and healing to those impacted by addiction.
