Shanghai Street Food Inspired Restaurant Announces a New Menu and Ugly IPA

QUEENS, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ugly Dumpling, a Shanghai street food inspired concept with a culinary palette that balances old-world and modern-day practices in the art of dumpling making, is excited to announce a new elevated menu and its signature beer, UGLY IPA.

The updated menu features new appetizers, entrees, drinks, and desserts, including Crystal Shrimp Dumplings, Chicken, Shrimp, and Beef Stir-Fried Noodles, a Fruity Yogurt Drink Bubble Tea, and the Peanut Butter Bomb.

Additionally, Ugly Dumpling has partnered with Tom’s River Brewing to unveil its signature beer, the UGLY IPA. A smooth and approachable New England Style IPA with a soft-pillowy mouthfeel from the heavy addition of malted wheat, flaked wheat, and oats in the mash bill. This beer is heavily hopped with late additions of Simcoe, Mosaic, Amarillo, and Citra hops, which present a beautiful tropical and citrus character ranging from sweet pineapple to luscious grapefruit. Ugly Dumpling's new IPA is available at its Linden, New Jersey, and Newark, Delaware locations and will soon be available at all locations.
