Altera Appoints Sandeep Nayyar as Chief Financial Officer

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Altera Corporation, the world’s largest independent provider of pure-play FPGA solutions, today announced the appointment of Sandeep Nayyar as Chief Financial Officer.

Nayyar brings more than three decades of financial leadership experience and a strong track record of driving growth, profitability, and strategic transformation across the semiconductor, storage and life sciences industries. “I’m honored to join Altera at such a transformative time,” said Nayyar. “As the largest independent pure-play FPGA provider, Altera is uniquely positioned to deliver leadership solutions and drive innovation across a broad range of industries. I look forward to working with Raghib and the leadership team to build on that momentum and create long-term value for our customers and stakeholders.”

Nayyar holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Delhi. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California and a Chartered Accountant from India.
