Semiconductor industry leader David French brings a wealth of experience and expertise to propel OmniOn Power into the future.

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--OmniOn Power (OmniOn) has announced the appointment of David French as its new President and CEO. With decades of experience in the semiconductor industry, French brings a wealth of electronic device design and manufacturing knowledge to OmniOn. He will apply this vast expertise to further drive OmniOn’s technological innovation and strengthen the company’s position as a leader in the global power supply market.

French brings over 40 years of leadership experience in the semiconductor and electronics industries to this role. Prior to joining OmniOn, he managed NXP’s Mobile and Computing Business Unit. French has also served as the CEO of Cirrus Logic, where he led the company's transformation into a global leader in mixed-signal audio solutions. In addition, he’s held various senior-level positions at Texas Instruments and Analog Devices.

French’s appointment follows the resignation of Jeff Schnitzer, the company’s prior President and CEO, in August 2025.
