Martin is an accomplished executive who brings more than 15 years of experience in the aerial and underground utilities industry. Martin joins Excel from Jackson Infrastructure Services, an infrastructure solutions provider, where he most recently served as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that, Martin served in numerous roles in the industry – from Laborer, Foreman, and Controller, to Division Manager, Estimator, and VP of Operations.

“I am excited to join Excel and to help build upon the tremendous success that the team has realized over the past several years,” said Morfin. “The growth opportunities being pursued and realized at Excel are truly impressive and I look forward to continuing to build the team to support that growth.”

Martin is stepping into the role previously held by Keith Record who is being promoted to EVP, Business Development at Revive Infrastructure Group. In Keith’s new role, he will have responsibility for business development across the entire company, with a particular focus on new customer acquisition.

“In over 40 years in this industry, I have never seen the volume of opportunities that exist today,” said Record. “The opportunity to hand over responsibility for Excel’s day-to-day operations to Martin, and to focus my attention on harvesting those opportunities for Revive, was just too exciting to pass up.”

Both Morfin and Record will report to Revive’s CEO, Chad Magee. “Our company is experiencing unprecedented growth; continuing to add talented individuals to our team will be critical to our ability to successfully manage that growth,” said Magee. “I could not be happier to have Martin join our team – his unique blend of construction experience and financial expertise will serve our Midwest division well. I am also thrilled that Keith will continue to be a key partner to me in the company he has helped build. His focus on business development and new customer acquisition will make our company stronger and more diversified. In addition, having someone with Keith’s level of experience, contacts, and moral character is a distinct competitive advantage.”
