ZOLL Executive in Malaysia Honored With Prestigious “Dato’” Title for Advancing Emergency Medical Services

The prestigious award is given to individuals who have made significant contributions to the nation, country and state of Penang. Mr. Barnabas’ honor is in appreciation of his outstanding efforts to advance emergency medical services in Penang.

Mr. Barnabas is a business leader who has worked in the medical technology industry for more than 30 years. He is deeply involved in voluntary community service and is an active supporter of lifesaving efforts within local communities, including non-governmental organizations (NGOs) such as George Town Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).

Adding to the prestige of this recognition, Mr. Barnabas’ wife, Anne Rodrigues, was given the title of “Datin.” Mr. and Mrs. Barnabas accepted their new titles from His Excellency the Governor of the State of Penang at an awards ceremony on 26 July 2025.
