“We are building a broad and modular suite of clinical, cost management, and consumer solutions—all powered by the best technology in the industry—and this is the team to make it a reality,” said Frederick Howe, MedImpact Chairman and CEO. “We are proud of the tremendous advances we have made so far and excited by what this team will deliver for our clients and members.”

MedImpact has appointed several seasoned executives to join the current senior team to help lead this transformation:

  • Zach Johnson has been named Executive Vice President where he will oversee enterprise-wide operations and go-to-market strategies. A visionary leader with deep industry expertise, Johnson is tasked with harnessing the entire MedImpact family of companies to offer clients a bold healthcare ecosystem and the flexibility to choose the solutions that meet their needs.
  • Jared Dirks, M.D., has joined as Chief Medical Officer. A respected physician executive with more than two decades of healthcare leadership experience, Dr. Dirks will take a data-driven, evidence-based approach to clinical innovations that improve health outcomes, member experience, and cost efficiency.
  • Tom Pabich has been named Senior Vice President, Strategy and Innovation. For two decades, Pabich has held leadership roles in prominent healthcare organizations where he brought to market technologies, business models, and bold thinking that have improved care and the customer experience, while growing companies exponentially.
  • Scott Helmus will lead Government Programs and Services as Senior Vice President, leveraging his more than 25 years of PBM and health tech experience with some of the industry’s most recognizable payers and solutions providers. In this role, Helmus will build on MedImpact’s successful track record serving government programs by expanding and enhancing its offerings and client service in this line of business.
  • Krista Kelley, Chief Commercial Officer, formerly led sales and marketing for pharmacy benefit management services and will now help guide enterprise-wide strategy and direct sales and marketing for the entire family of MedImpact companies.
  • Margot Case has been named Senior Vice President of Sales, reporting to Kelley and leading PBM sales. Case brings more than 25 years of diverse healthcare leadership experience, spanning early-stage ventures to Fortune 20 companies. She has a strong record of driving double-digit revenue growth, scaling high-performing sales teams, and earning the trust of major national accounts.
  • Arpit Patel, Pharm.D., who previously served as Vice President, Trade Relations, has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Trade Relations and Supply Chain. Patel is responsible for several bold innovations, such as MedImpact’s biosimilar and formulary strategies, and will lead the company’s wholesale and unbranded biosimilar strategies going forward.

These moves are an important part of MedImpact’s ongoing investments in talent, technology, and capabilities. As the company continues to evolve beyond its PBM roots, its goal is clear: empower clients with choices, flexibility, control, and a better way forward.

“Each of these leaders brings exceptional innovation, insight, and vision to MedImpact," said Howe. "Together, they’re not just shaping the future of our company—they have the potential to redefine how healthcare is provided, managed, and paid for.”
