Arajet Expands Florida Presence With New Orlando Route

The airline’s Florida expansion builds on sold-out success in Miami and growing demand for low-fare Caribbean travel.

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Arajet, the low-fare Dominican airline, announced today its continued U.S. expansion with the launch of new nonstop service between Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) and Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ). After beginning service in Miami, the new route increases Arajet’s presence in Florida, a key region for Caribbean-bound tourism and Latin and Dominican diaspora communities.

Launching service in Orlando marks another important milestone for Arajet as we continue our rapid growth across the United States.

Flights will begin on October 26, 2025, with introductory fares from SFB to PUJ starting at just $138 per person, and from PUJ to SFB starting at $162. Available now at arajet.com, use promo code #HOLAORLANDO for up to 30% off the base ticket price (taxes and fees excluded; offer valid for one person per booking).

“Launching service in Orlando marks another important milestone for Arajet as we continue our rapid growth across the United States,” said Víctor Pacheco Méndez, CEO and founder of Arajet. “Florida is a cornerstone of our expansion strategy, and Orlando is the perfect place to strengthen our U.S. footprint as one of the most visited cities in the world and home to a vibrant Dominican and Latin community. After seeing record-breaking sales and sold-out flights in Miami, expanding to Orlando is a natural next step as we grow our U.S. network and fulfill our mission of making Caribbean travel more accessible.”

Since launching U.S. operations with its inaugural Miami route, Arajet has continued its growth in the American market. On June 4, the airline will expand its Miami service with a new direct route between Miami International Airport (MIA) and Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ). The new flights give travelers the option to fly direct to either Punta Cana or Santo Domingo, further cementing its role in connecting U.S. travelers to the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean. Passengers will fly aboard Arajet’s modern, fuel-efficient Boeing 737 MAX aircraft—recognized as the youngest fleet in North America—for a comfortable and environmentally responsible travel experience.

The direct service from Orlando’s second gateway, Sanford International Airport, will offer a convenient, less congested, and affordable option for Central Florida residents looking to visit family, explore the Dominican Republic, or enjoy a Caribbean getaway. With three flights per week on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, this route will provide nonstop access to one of the Caribbean’s top destinations, with easy onward connections to Arajet’s growing network of more than 13 destinations across the Caribbean and Latin America, including Colombia, Jamaica, and Costa Rica.

Arajet’s growth is fueled, in part, by the Open Skies agreement between the United States and the Dominican Republic, which has enabled the airline to scale operations quickly and deliver competitive fares to a broader and more diverse group of travelers. Orlando now becomes the airline’s sixth U.S. destination since its debut in February 2025, joining Boston, Chicago, Miami, New York, and San Juan.
