CellTrust Releases Direct Carrier Capture for Text Messaging with Self-Service Portal and no App Required

CellTrust has teamed up with leading network carriers in the USA to deliver direct Carrier Capture on the SL2 Enterprise Capture platform

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CellTrust today announced the integration of direct Carrier Capture capability to its secure and compliant SL2™ Enterprise Capture platform.

Organizations in highly regulated industries, such as financial services and government, are required to capture, monitor and archive work related text messages. CellTrust’s mobile communication platform SL2 Enterprise Capture streamlines mobile communication compliance through text/SMS/MMS, chat, WhatsApp and voice capture, enables both App and Carrier Capture, moderation, and gateway hold, with the ability to maintain encryption of data in transit to long-term archivers for eDiscovery.

Essential for Corporate Liable mobile device compliance

Direct Carrier Capture is typically implemented as part of a corporate liable mobile device compliance strategy on Corporate Owned Business Only (COBO) mobile devices. COBO mobile devices issued to employees are both owned and fully managed by the business or government agency and restricted for work use only. Staff are not allowed to use them for personal purposes.

All text messages sent to and from mobile phones are transmitted through carrier networks. A copy of all text messages (SMS/MMS) sent to and from the mobile device’s native messaging app are transmitted by the carrier and sent to CellTrust’s SL2 Enterprise platform, where they are then archived to an Enterprise Information Archiving (EIA) platform for compliant storage and oversight. With the addition of Mobile Device Management, iMessage can also be fully disabled – closing a major gap in mobile compliance.
