Roku Expands Operations in India With Second Engineering Hub in Bangalore

BANGALORE, India--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, Roku, the #1 TV streaming platform in the U.S., announced the opening of its second office in Bangalore, India, located in Embassy Golf Links Business Park, Challaghatta. As part of its strategic expansion into one of the world’s most dynamic tech hubs, Roku has hired over 100 engineers to drive advancements in its products.

The new office will serve as a key engineering hub, focused on developing cutting-edge streaming technologies. Open roles span several critical areas, including software development, cloud technologies, machine learning, and data analytics. Engineers will have the opportunity to contribute to the Roku operating system (OS), which is purpose-built for TV and powers Roku TV models and streaming devices.
