Pediatrica Health Group Acquires Daytona Beach Pediatrics

Company Looks to Improve Reach and Accessibility to Care

MIAMI & DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Miami-based Pediatrica Health Group, a multi-site, pediatric primary care organization dedicated to providing equitable access to innovative care for kids, today announced the completed acquisition of Daytona Beach Pediatrics, owned and operated by Dr. Louis Orezzoli. This acquisition positions Pediatrica to expand accessibility to top-tier Next Generation CareSM and continue to expand the already thriving practice’s reach and care offering while enhancing the patient experience.

Next Generation Care SM in action…

For decades, Dr. Orezzoli and the Daytona Beach Pediatrics team have been a beacon in the community. They have provided generations of patient families with the vital medical care and resources needed to support wellness and achieve developmental milestones in good health, setting them up for healthy futures. Transitioning to Pediatrica allows Dr. Orezzoli to continue to do this and be an even more valuable community partner.

More than just a new name on the door, Pediatrica is already making positive changes. Equipping the practice with new, efficient technology, implementing an electronic medical records system, and updating practice infrastructure means administrative work becomes more manageable for staff, and families have better access to information around the clock. Plus, the Daytona Beach location is growing. In addition to more administrative support, welcoming a new provider at the practice means opening the door to even more families, including those covered by Medicaid, an option not previously available with limited resources and staff.

“…we have so much to gain by removing barriers to care for every family.”

Dr. Anabella Torres joins the practice with over 20 years of experience in pediatric care, “Dr. Orezzoli has truly created a legacy, and I am eager to continue building it alongside him with the support of the Pediatrica team. Growing the practice and the services we offer is exciting not just for the community but for the whole team as well, on a personal and professional level. Collectively, we have so much to gain by removing barriers to care for every family,” noted Dr. Torres.
