Winston & Strawn Adds Transactions Partner Stanislav Kalminsky in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Winston & Strawn announced today the addition of Stanislav (“Stan”) Kalminsky as a partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office. He joins the Transactions Department where he will focus his practice on private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate and securities matters.

Stan has represented public and private companies, as well as private equity funds and their portfolio companies, in a variety of transactions, including mergers, stock and asset acquisitions and dispositions, cross-border transactions, joint ventures, leveraged buyouts, and restructurings.

“Winston has a well-earned reputation for navigating complex private equity transactions through varied market conditions and I am excited to join its highly renowned team,” said Stan. “I am eager to reconnect with my former colleagues – Eva Davis and Bryan Ikegami – in LA and look forward to collaborating with my new colleagues to offer the firm’s breadth of transactions capabilities particularly to my middle-market clients.”

“Stan’s existing network of relationships, proven ability to secure and manage substantial deals, and alignment with our wider strategic goals make him a welcome addition to the firm,” said Los Angeles Office Managing Partner Angela Machala.

“We are confident that the addition of Stan will be a key driver of growth for further developing our private equity practice and client base in Los Angeles,” said Timothy Kincaid and Brad Vaiana, co-chairs of the firm’s Transactions Department. “His arrival further demonstrates our commitment to strategic growth in California and to attract best-in-class talent to drive utmost client value.”
