SoundHound AI Appoints Shawnna DelHierro as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer

Experienced technology leader joins SoundHound to drive IT strategy and infrastructure optimization as company scales for future growth

(Nasdaq: SOUN), a global leader in voice artificial intelligence, today announced the appointment of Shawnna DelHierro as Senior Vice President (SVP) and Chief Information Officer (CIO). She joins the company’s executive leadership team to drive the next phase of SoundHound’s technology and infrastructure evolution, ensuring a strong foundation for continued scale and business growth.

Bringing more than two decades of experience in technology leadership and digital transformation, DelHierro has a proven track record of propelling organizational growth through innovative and strategic enterprise technology initiatives. In her new role, she will oversee critical functions including IT operations and infrastructure, cloud engineering and optimization, cybersecurity, compliance, and more, with a focus on strengthening these areas as the company continues expanding its best-in-class voice AI platform across industries.

DelHierro transitions into this role after previously serving as a consultant for SoundHound, helping lead cost optimization, OCI migration, and integration efforts – gaining firsthand insight into the company’s technology and operations.

Prior to joining SoundHound, DelHierro has held CIO, CTO, and advisory roles at VSP Global, Visionworks, Sportsman’s Warehouse, Hoshizaki NA, and various private equity firms, where she focused on modernizing IT infrastructure, optimizing cloud operations, and driving seamless customer and employee experiences.
