Patricia Houle leaves a sound heritage

"As the outgoing initial CFO, Mrs. Patricia Houle, CMA, CPA, MBA, passes the baton after steering Aplantex through the extremely demanding stages we faced as a biotech start-up. We are most grateful for her exceptional contribution to our sound financial footing. Thanks to her skills and commitment, we are ready for our next leap forward," states Mr. Charest.

The successful transition from start-up to full operation

With our nursery and genetics, growth, and extraction labs now in operation, 2025 will see Aplantex complete the work under several LOIs with leading international buyers of plant-based molecules. Mr. Côté will prepare the next round of financing slated for the first half of 2026.

About Aplantex

Aplantex's scientific team has developed a unique process for the local production of high value-added active plant ingredients, highly prized by major players in many sectors. The heart of this green biotechnology process is the continuous production, in a controlled environment, of plant biomass from proprietary photosynthetic plant replicators. This abundant biomass is then dried, and the extraction, fractionation and purification stages enable us to isolate the specific molecules essential to many of the leading products in the cosmetics, natural health, agrifood, and pharmaceutical industries.
