Company Announces Appointment of Deepti Verma as a Partner, FVLS

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DLA, LLC (DLA), a leading internal audit and accounting advisory firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Deepti Verma as a Partner in the firm’s Forensic Accounting, Valuation, and Litigation Support (FVLS) business.

As a seasoned forensic accounting professional with over 20 years of experience, Deepti brings to DLA a wealth of global experience across fraud investigations, compliance, and risk advisory, spanning a variety of sectors including consumer products, energy, diversified industrial manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, life sciences and technology. Deepti has deep experience on matters involving anti-corruption compliance and has led proactive compliance assessments and forensic investigations in several countries including China, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, and Canada.

Before joining DLA, Deepti was the U.S. Forensics Practice Leader at global consulting firm, Protiviti Inc. While at Protiviti, she was involved in a variety of complex matters, including bribery and corruption investigations, employee fraud investigations, vendor fraud and conflict of interest investigations, financial statement fraud investigations, anti-corruption compliance assessments and audits, as well as fraud risk assessments. Prior to Protiviti, Deepti spent 13 years in Forensics at the Big 4 Firms including EY, KPMG, and Deloitte, where she led similar projects.
