TSS Solutions Selected as SeaPort NxG Prime Contractor

MELBOURNE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TSS Solutions, a global defense electronics company focused on the repair, modernization, operations, maintenance, and leasing of radar systems, has been selected as a prime contractor on the U.S. Navy’s SeaPort Next Generation (SeaPort NxG) contract.

Seaport NxG is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) with an ordering period extending to January 1, 2029. As a prime contractor, TSS Solutions is now eligible to respond to task orders that support the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps in a range of functional areas, including engineering services and support, testing and evaluation, research and development, and program/administrative management, among others.

The award represents another milestone for TSS Solutions, an Acorn Capital Management company, founded in 1991. The designation as a prime contractor reaffirms TSS Solutions’ commitment to deliver industry-leading, cost-effective products and services in support of the U.S. military and its allies.

The IDIQ contract has a ceiling of $5 billion and includes a 10-year period of performance.

SeaPort NxG is an integrated approach to contracting for professional services in support of the Navy Virtual SYSCOM Commanders (NAVAIR, NAVFAC, NAVSEA, NAVSUP, NAVWAR, and ONR), Military Sealift Command (MSC) and the United States Marine Corps (USMC). SeaPort NxG preapproves a large and diverse community of contractors through a process called Rolling Admissions. Once approved, contractors bid on work, individually or in teaming arrangements.
