Odalys Arevalo and Mercedes Cabrera Honored with Lifetime Achievement Award by South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

Sunshine Life & Health Advisors co-founders and “Godmothers of Insurance” recognized for extraordinary contributions to the Hispanic community

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Odalys Arevalo and Mercedes Cabrera, co-founders of Sunshine Life & Health Advisors, were honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce at the 21st Annual Women Empowering & Embracing Women Awards. Known as Las Madrinas de Los Seguros (The Godmothers of Insurance), Arevalo and Cabrera were celebrated for their exceptional contributions and unwavering dedication to the Hispanic community. Arevalo and Cabrera founded Sunshine in 2013 with a focus on helping members of the Hispanic community understand and enroll in Affordable Care Act (ACA) health plans.
