Navitus Partners with Learn to Live to Offer Mental Health Solutions

Navitus now offers clients a solution to help their members combat the prevalence of mental health challenges and rising associated costs — giving them options to improve their mental health without prescription medications or in-person visits.

MADISON, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Navitus Health Solutions announced today a partnership with Learn to Live, making Learn to Live’s industry-leading digital cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and clinician coaching platform available to Navitus clients. This will complement existing and emerging solutions to help payers manage health costs for their member populations by extending reach and access to clinically proven mental health services.

Nearly half of all Americans will need mental health support at some point in their lives, yet only one in four will seek traditional care. These unaddressed mental health conditions can impact physical health and lower productivity, leading to increased, long-term medical costs.

Learn to Live’s on-demand digital programs and clinician coaching offer a valuable way to reach people who otherwise would not be aware of or have access to traditional care. Their unique model removes barriers to care and provides highly effective, 24/7 support for mental health-related issues, many of which lead to increased health care costs, lost time and employee turnover for employers.

“Today’s employers are more concerned than ever about the mental health of their workforce,” said Laura Jester, Vice President, Clinical Services at Navitus. “Our clients look to Navitus for transformative solutions. Through this partnership with Learn to Live, we’re able to meet that demand and reduce costs, and at the same time, continue to remove the primary barriers for people to get the help they need – access, cost and stigma.”

Learn to Live has a compelling 12-year track record of delivering clinical improvements in mental health conditions, such as depression, stress, anxiety, substance use, insomnia and more. Using the clinically proven strategies of cognitive behavioral therapy, Learn to Live’s digital programs and clinician-coaching services teach people how to recognize and then change unhelpful thinking and behavior patterns to provide meaningful, long-term impact on users’ mental health and well-being.

Through collaborations with pharmacy benefit management organizations such as Navitus, health plans, employers and others, Learn to Live offers its services to more than 35 million individuals.

“The demand for readily accessible and effective mental health resources has always been high and continues to rise,” said Learn to Live co-founder and CEO, Dale Cook. "Our clients look to us to deliver confidential, highly utilized, evidence-based services, which result in clinical outcomes with a meaningful ROI. We are privileged to collaborate with Navitus to help even more people find relief.”
